Here are yesterday's freebies. I'll post today's freebies once the mail runs. :) Yesterday's freebies include samples from Oxy Clinical, Elmer's Craft Bond glue spots, a coupon for free Excedrin, and a coupon for a free 20oz Sprite.
Lockerz.com...an invitation only website where you can earn points by logging in daily, watching videos, and inviting friends. These points can be used to redeem prizes or to get you discounts on items in their shop. Sounds great right? Well as they say, looks good on paper...and that is all.
I joined Lockerz in the fall of 2009. I redeemed a little pink ipod back then. And since then I haven't redeemed a single thing. When they have a prize redemption the prizes are mysteriously gone in under a minute. People wait for hours to redeem...because Lockerz of course doesn't even tell when the redemption is going to be...and then most don't even get to redeem anything. After the redemption you can see all the unhappiness of the members on Lockerz redemption...though Lockerz has been known to disable comments if too many post about their unhappiness.
There is also Lockerz's Shop, where points have no discernable value. For example, a $300 Playstation 3 can be gotten for free for 200,648 points. but it takes 115,590 points to get a $6 Baby Baggu bag for free. Can someone tell me how that sounds reasonable?
And lets not forget about Lockerz's promise to have 24/7 redemptions. 24/7 redemptions turned into 24/7 auctions where there is about a dozen items for hundreds of thousands of users to fight over.
In short, Lockerz is about as satisfying as a limp dick and as disappointing as no gifts under the tree on Christmas morning.
As a member of BzzAgent I am occasionally given the opportunity to try new products or websites. One site they have brought to my attention lately is CheapToday.com
CheapToday is an awesome site and a must have for people who frequently shop online. It shows you great deals at your favorite stores online. It tracks deals so that the busy shopper doesn't have too. Coupons, codes, freebies, promotions, and discounts. This site has it all for those who love to shop. So go check it. You won't be disappointed.
On Wednesday I got Family Circle magazine and EveryDay with Rachel Ray. FedEx brought me a sweetie freebie from Natrelle. I also got a $5 Amazon card from Swagbucks and a $5 Amazon from Harris Polls.
Today I got tons of freebies. I got Redbook magazine, Taste of Home Magazine, a sample of Shirley j's universal sauce, a sample of Garnier Moisture Rescue, a coupon off of Pampers (not really sure why), a coupon for a free Woolite Carpet Cleaning tool, and some stamps from a wonderful member of FST.
I also got in my Sex and the City 2 movie and newest Nora Roberts' book. While these were bought from Amazon, they are technically free because I bought them with Amazon credit that I received from Swagbucks, iRazoo, Crowdtap, and other sites like those.
Such a good day for freebies. Microsoft finally gave in and uncanceled my Club Bing prizes. So I received my Wireless Comfort Keyboard and Mouse 5000. What a thing of beauty. I also received Woman's Day Magazine, a Curel lotion sample, Barilla coupons from Viewpoints , and a shirt from Rue La La (not pictured).
Today I got a contest win from Viewpoints, Martha Stewart Living Magazine, an Olive Oil Sample and a Tide Sample. Over the weekend I got Redbook magazine, two Listia wins, a free neti pot, Marlboro coupons and tons of other freebies.
I didn't get any mail yesterday but I did today. It was funny watching the mail lady try to fit it all in the box. I think she will do anything to keep from having to pull into my yard and wait for me to come out to get my mail. So here are today's freebies.
I got a pack of gum from Extra. Dessert Delights gum. Tastes alright when you first chew it. After that it starts to taste kinda bad. I got a sample from Walmart of Glory Foods Seasoned Cooking base and I got five pens from gopromos.com. They are beautiful pens.
I also got a Listia win today. A very pretty shirt!
Club Bing is a site where you play games and redeem for prizes. It is legit and you do get your prizes....until Microsoft thinks you have gotten too many. Then they call you a cheater. This happened to me. I keep emailing them and this is all I get:
I am so sick of getting this response. I did not cheat. I so deserve my prizes. Anyway, let this be a warning to those who use Clubbing.com. In the future you could end up seeing this email when you inquire about your prizes.
