Apparently my BBB battle with AT&T is coming to an end. AT&T thinks they did nothing wrong. Won't even acknowledge that their customer service lied to me. Up until now I had refrained from posting the conversation, but not anymore. So here is the conversation where AT&T Live Chat lied to me.
In my complaint to the BBB, I said that AT&T had lied to me and I wanted an apology for being lied to. I wanted AT&T to acknowledge that their customer service rep had lied to me and given me false information. This is the letter that I had received from AT&T in response to my Better Business Bureau complaint.
I didn't get any freebies in the mail so I though today's post could be about how I get so many freebies. I belong to a freebie site called freestufftimes.com. But I also do lots of surveys and belong to a few sites that let you do offers and searches in return for points that you can cash in for prizes. So below is a list of the sites I use.
It is Sunday which means no freebies. So for today I thought I would talk about an issue that disgusts me. AT&T, as of May 2, 2011 is implementing bandwidth caps. AT&T hasn't informed you yet of these changes, well they haven't informed me yet either.
AT&T is placing a 150 GB cap on their High Speed Residential DSL plans. 250 GB for UVerse. They swear that the normal customer only uses 18 GB a month and that this cap will only affect 2% of users. But don't worry, you can use more than 150 GB if you want, but you will be charged $10 for every 50 GB that you go over.
I found out about this change online so I contacted AT&T through their LiveChat service where I was lied to. The agent told me that this change was a law and that it was implemented by the FCC. This is a lie. There is no law telling ISP providers that they have to cap bandwidth and it certainly is not implemented by the FCC, who is always fighting for net neutrality and regulation of ISP providers.
So users of AT&T DSL, kiss your video game playing and video streaming goodbye. If you use Hulu, Netflix streaming, playing video games online, etc, you face a choice. Pay extra or limit your usage of services like that.
Here are some freebies that I've gotten lately. Sample goody bag from Target, Burt's Bees products, magazines, etc. I'll try to do better with posting what I've gotten. Things just kept happening, like my monitor died.
I am a member of a great site, BzzAgent.com. This site shares products or services with its members so those members can in turn share those great products and their opinions about those products. I recently received the SC Johnson Smart and Easy Spring Cleaning Campaign from BzzAgent. This kit contained quite a few great products.
Today, I am going to talk about the Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel. This product is an awesome product to have in the bathroom. No more awkward hanging tablets or messy blue tablets that have to be dropped into the tank. With this product you just stick right inside the toilet. It smells great and comes in three different fragrances: Fresh Clean, Fresh Mountain Morning and Citrus. Quick, easy, and effective. I love it. I would definitely recommend it.
