Kashi Hummus Crisps

Being a BzzAgent is great. So many great opportunities to try new products. Recently I was chosen for the Kashi Humus Crisps campaign. As a participant, I was sent a bag of the Kashi Sea Salt & Olive Oil All Natural Hummus Crisps to try for free.

As a rule I am generally skeptical of "healthy" tasting foods. They tend to taste about as good as the packaging they are packed in.  So I went into this campaign with low expectations. I did not think these would taste good. I was pleasantly surprised. While these crisps don't taste as a good as a potato chip, they are tasty.  If you are looking for a quick snack that isn't going to break your diet, these crisps might be it. They have a kinda weird texture to me, but that might be because I'm not used to eating crisps. The flavor isn't too bad either. I think they got tastier after a few.

Nutrional Information:

I'd love to tell you a price for the Kashi Hummus Crisps, but that I do not know. I also don't know where to buy them in my area, but the Kashi website has a locator if you can't find them at your store.

Impress Nails

I was recently lucky enough to get chosen for a VoxBox from Influenster.  Inside this wonderful box was some Broadway Nails imPress Press-on nails. These nails have a beautiful design and are so easy to apply.  Just clean your nails with the provided wipe, peel off the backing, press on, and presto, instant manicure. Usually I would try the product myself; however, these nails were for really small nails and I don't have small nails. Fortunately my sister does have small nails so she volunteered to get a free manicure. :)
Here is the before picture of her nails:
And here is an after picture. So pretty.

The nails were very easy to apply. Probably the easiest nails I've ever worked with. So much easier than working with glue. My sister did say later that day she didn't think the nails were sticking on that well, but that could be just her.

These nails sell for about $5.99-$7.99 and are available at places such as Walgreens and Walmart.

*I was given these products free to try. I was not paid for this review nor is my opinion that of the company's*

Palmolive Soft Touch VoxBox

I was lucky enough to get into the Influenster's Palmolive Soft Touch Campaign which means Influenster sent me two bottles of Palmolive for free.  I received the Soft Touch Vitamin E and the Soft Touch Coconut Butter dish washing liquid.

My preferred brand of dish washing liquid is Dawn. I grew up in a house where Ajax was always used and that stuff didn't work really good, so I use Dawn. I've always thought of Palmolive as an old lady type dish detergent. Trying the Soft Touch stuff has changed my mind.  The smell is wonderful. At first I was a bit iffy on the scent. I didn't want my dishes to end up smelling perfumy. No worries though. The water may smell great but the dishes just end up clean, not over scented.  The Coconut Butter reminds me of sunscreen lotion. So its like doing dishes on a tropical beach. :)

In the past I've thought that any dish washing detergent that was great for hands would suck at doing dishes. I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong. The Palmolive Soft Touch detergent actually works well.  It left my dishes clean and helped keep my hands from suffering from all the washing.

All in all, I think this is a good product, so try it today. :)

*I received this product for free to try. I have not been paid in any way for this review. My opinions are my own*

Crowdtap Sample & Share: Woolite

I was recently chosen by Crowdtap to receive some samples of Woolite to try and to share with others. The samples were from Woolite Everyday laundry detergent. I don't generally use anything besides Gain to wash my clothes so I was skeptical. But Woolite Everyday is a great detergent. I liked the scent because it wasn't too strong. And the detergent didn't look weak like some detergents look. I gave my sister some samples and I hope she has the same the experience with the detergent.  While I liked this detergent I probably would not buy it because it is more expensive than my usual brand.

Woolite Everyday is good for all your fabrics including jeans and delicate stuff like silk (though it is always recommend to follow the washing instructions on such garments). It cleans gently but thoroughly with a fresh scent. It won't shrink or stretch your clothing. And Woolite Everyday helps to keep your clothes from fading, so your clothes stay their brightest.

Woolite Everyday is available in sizes 50oz, 100oz & 133oz. Average retail price for a 50 oz bottle seems to be about $9.00.

Schick Hydro Campaign

If you read this blog often, you already know that I am a member of a great site called BzzAgent. I was recently chosen for the Schick Hydro Silk Razor Campagin. I got an awesome kit with coupons and a free Schick Hydro Silk Razor to try for free.

I've always been a Schick razor user. They are the best to me. I was used to the Schick Quatro razor and didn't think there was a better razor until I tried the Schick Hydro Silk Razor. It gives an amazing close shave with no nicks and no blood drawn. I know five blades can be intimidating but trust me, this razor deserves to be tried.  The Schick Hydro Silk razors have Water-Activated Moisturizing Serum that has marine extracts and shea butter which keep hydrating your skin for up to two hours after shaving. There are five blades with skin guards that help reduce irritation and I would think help keep you looking like you were attacked by it.  The handle is lightweight so its not weighing down your hand while shaving.

Here are some before and after pictures of my leg when I used the Hydro Silk razor. I swear I let the hair grow just to try this out.

No cuts. No blood. No irritation. This razor rocks!!!!

The Schick Hydro Silk Razor is available at grocery stores, mass retailers (like Walmart) and drug stores. The average retail price for the Starter Kit is about $9.49. Refills average about $15.11.
